In the Garden ~ Bunnies Bunnies All Around

Bunnies, bunnies, all around and not a carrot in sight!

My husband took these photographs of the baby bunnies in our zucchini patch with his GoPro camera.   We have counted four bunnies in and out of the nest.

My favorite photograph!

Love the baby bunny trying to hop over the trellis.

And just like that...

the bunnies hopped away to find adventure in the big big world.

Monday morning, we checked the zucchini patch and the bunnies were gone.  We miss them but I imagine that they are having a glorious time exploring and living their best little baby bunny lives!

I'm so glad that the grandchildren were able to see them on Sunday evening!  They were so excited to see them in the garden.  ♥

This morning... we did spot the mother bunny in the middle of the yard once again gathering grass... will we be expecting again soon?

    1. They did, Connie. They were very quiet when they peeked through the leaves to see them. ♥

But oh! the blessing it is to have a friend to whom one can speak fearlessly on any subject; with whom one's deepest as well as one's most foolish thoughts come out simply and safely. Oh, the comfort — the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person — having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words, but pouring them all right out, just as they are, chaff and grain together; certain that a faithful hand will take and sift them, keep what is worth keeping, and then with the breath of kindness blow the rest away. ~Dinah Maria Craik, A Life for a Life, "Chapter XVI: Her Story," 1859
